This Cookie Policy explains how Scoutletic, operated by Lafoba, uses cookies, tags, SDKs, local storage and similar technologies on Scoutletic websites and applications. It should be read with the Scoutletic Privacy Policy.

2. What These Technologies Do

Cookies and similar technologies can remember settings, maintain sessions, protect accounts, measure traffic and interactions, support analytics and, where implemented, support advertising or campaign measurement.

3. Categories We May Use

• Strictly necessary and security technologies, used for authentication, account security, fraud prevention, load balancing and essential functionality.
• Preference and functionality technologies, used to remember choices and improve usability.
• Analytics technologies, including Google Analytics, used to understand traffic, sessions, approximate location, device/browser characteristics and interactions.
• Advertising and measurement technologies, if enabled, used to measure campaigns or support advertising. These must be configured consistently with applicable consent requirements and Scoutletic's disclosures.

4. Google Analytics

Scoutletic uses Google Analytics on the public marketing website at scoutletic.com and on the Scoutletic application at app.scoutletic.com. Google Analytics may use cookies, device or browser information, and similar identifiers to measure visits, sessions and interactions. Where consent is required by applicable law, non-essential analytics technologies are used in accordance with the user's consent choices.

Scoutletic does not intentionally send directly identifying information such as names or email addresses to Google Analytics. Page URLs, event parameters, user properties and form fields are audited to prevent accidental transmission of personal information.

5. Advertising

Scoutletic may display advertisements or sponsored placements selected and posted by Scoutletic administrators. Scoutletic may measure direct advertising performance, including advertisement impressions (views), clicks and related aggregate campaign activity. Scoutletic's current direct advertising system is not intended to create behavioral advertising profiles or select advertisements based on a user's browsing history.

If Scoutletic enables Google advertising features, Google Ads, remarketing, third-party ad networks, cross-context behavioral advertising or advertiser pixels, the cookie banner, consent implementation, Privacy Policy and this Cookie Policy will be reviewed and updated before launch of those features.

6. Advertising Measurement and Frequency

Scoutletic may use cookies, session identifiers or similar technologies to measure advertising impressions (views) and clicks, calculate aggregate campaign performance, prevent the same advertisement from being shown excessively, maintain security and detect fraudulent or automated advertising activity. Where campaign links or measurement tools are used, Scoutletic may also measure aggregate traffic generated by an advertisement. These technologies may help determine whether an advertisement has already been displayed during a browsing session. Scoutletic's direct advertising system is not intended to use these technologies to create behavioral advertising profiles of children.

These descriptions match Scoutletic's current implementation. If only session-based identifiers are used, Scoutletic does not describe them as persistent advertising cookies. If additional persistent technologies are later introduced, this Cookie Policy and the consent experience will be updated before those technologies are deployed.

7. Your Choices

Where required by applicable law, Scoutletic will request consent before using non-essential cookies or similar technologies. You should be able to accept, reject or manage relevant categories and later change your choices.

Browser controls may also allow you to block or delete cookies, although disabling essential technologies may prevent parts of the Services from functioning.

8. Children

Scoutletic uses privacy-protective configurations for minor accounts and does not use children's personal information for targeted or behavioral advertising except where expressly permitted and all legally required consent and safeguards have been satisfied.

Scoutletic uses Google Analytics on both domains, and each implementation should honor applicable consent requirements for non-essential analytics technologies.
