AI QA Builder

About the role

Design and maintain a reliable quality-assurance approach that combines conventional automated testing with carefully reviewed AI-assisted workflows. The objective is to catch defects before they affect Scoutletic users.

What you will do

• Build and maintain end-to-end tests for registration, login, athlete profiles, search, messaging and subscription flows.
• Develop repeatable regression suites and test data strategies for key user roles and permissions.
• Use AI-assisted tools to draft test cases, explore edge cases and accelerate triage while verifying outputs independently.
• Test APIs, validation, accessibility basics, mobile layouts and error handling.
• Investigate failures, write clear reproduction steps and collaborate with developers on fixes.
• Help integrate reliable tests into CI workflows and report coverage, flaky tests and release risks.
• Protect production data and avoid unsafe testing against live customer accounts.

What we are looking for

• Hands-on web application QA experience with Playwright, Cypress or equivalent automation tools.
• Ability to read JavaScript or TypeScript and understand browser behavior, APIs and HTTP responses.
• Experience writing reproducible bug reports and assessing severity.
• Understanding of authentication, permissions, regression testing and test-environment hygiene.
• Healthy skepticism about AI-generated tests and a strong commitment to evidence-based verification.
